In the Presence of Video Marketing Royalty: Maria Andros
Hi Folks!
I have an audience with Queen Maria Andros!
What is coming out to be a behavioral pattern on my part, I sleep late and still get up early with only the occasional yawn and eye-rubbing rituals. I clean up, struggle into my clothes, made sure my socks are matched, and head out the door.
It was 6:00am and I have to rush. I started my trusty Year 2000 Toyota Unser van outfitted with a self-made water-fuel HHO booster (tech plug!!), and I was off. Despite my sleepiness, I was excited.
The early-morning webinar sessions are back after a brief hiatus! I say it’s about time! 
Alex was bringing in an expert to talk about video marketing, and he brought in the Queen of them all: The Video Marketing Queen: Maria Andros.
Who Is Maria Andros?
Well, I knew about Maria when Alex mentioned her when he was giving a webinar that involved Twitter. He mentioned before that in Twitter, you can actually find the biggest guns in IM history just interacting with everybody. And boy, that lady is quite active in there!

Let’s talk about her stats. Her life-on-the-web stats (Behave!):
- Maria Andros used to be a makeup artist for 10 yrs
- She started an ebay business
- and made $80,000 USD in 12 months part time
- She found a niche
- got involved in video marketing May 2007
- started with no list
- started with no expensive google adsense pay-per-click (PPC) brouhaha
- in the first 2 months of video marketing made $12,987 USD!
- Ms. Maria Andros started with just some homemade amateur videos
- and now makes a 6-figure yearly income AND without using expensive advertising
- so far her videos have been viewed by up to half a million surfers already and have dubbed her The Video Marketing Queen!
Her rise to the top has been phenomenal. If I had half a brain, I’d take every opportunity to learn from her!

From the way I hear her during the webinar, she knows her stuff and speaks about video the way one would talk about her life’s work.
What I Learned During the Video Marketing Webinar
The webinar was a short 2.5 hours, but it left me with a lot information to digest!
One thing’s for sure: I’m gonna throw myself into Youtube!
Don’t get me wrong. Video is absolutely new territory for me. And after publishing my goals for the next 365 days in my previous post, I’m going to make an adjustment and include video into my online marketing repertoire! Maria Andros and my mentor Alex Jeffreys simply convinced me it is so crucial to my marketing campaign!
Video marketing is a part of internet marketing that you simply cannot ignore. Any IM worth his salt IS on video. Name any guru off the top of your head: Mike Filsaime, Michael Cheney, Jason James, and they have used video to devastating effect.
I remember the time before I signed up with Alex Jeffreys’ Coaching Program. I watched his video for a week because I wanted to fully understand him. I was qualifying him to see if he was worth the money I’m going to pay for his experience.
To say the least, his video presentation was superb, but it was his MESSAGE that impressed me the most.
I want that to have that effect too, by golly!
Here’s why you have to do video:
- gives you an advantage over competitors
- can be viewed as an expert because as kids we were taught that people on tv is someone
- builds a highly responsive warm list
- video converts up to 600% higher than text alone because 90% of all communication is non-verbal
- appeals to all the senses

I think the fastest way to get a video is to be yourself, feel the fear, control it and just do it.
I intend to make a video by Tue and see how it goes. You can use a service called Traffic Geyser to distribute the videos to all the video sites \ so you don’t have to do it.

thanks for being this exited about videos. Now I get exited again, althought I’m old school. I rather read a text than watch a video when it is about information products. But I change.
And what about making own videos.. I dont know. But I will make a try. Only scared of seeing myself on the videos. Anyway I want to see your videos.
I read some of your car adventures. It seems that you are a real car fixer. Maybe you should come to Sweden and help our big car companies SAAB and Volvo that earns less money than us.

I’m definitely excited. I bought and tested a Logitech ClearChat Pro USB Headset and I was positively tickled by the clear sound quality I made. My voice comes in very clearly and the background noise was muted significantly.
For information gathering my habits go towards reading short reviews and watching videos if I am pressed for time and reading full text when I do have time or need more info.
For my car, I’m just someone who wants to save gas. SAAB and Volvo may want me to just test drive their new models hehe.

Hi Erwin, I too like videos. I am currently working on mine for the competition. I understand the deadline for this is February 5th, so I had better get my skates on. I am just tweaking it here and there and I am sure I will have it finished with time to spare. I do think that videos are going to be a great boost in our endeavours to get traffic. The saying goes that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ and this is even more true nowadays. You can get across serious messages or humour, or a combination of both. Either way I think people like to listen and watch rather than just read text, at least that is what I am hoping. Good luck with your video.
